I fell in love with sewing and designing after taking a home economics class in high school. After graduation, I wanted to make fashion a career. I moved to New York City to attend The Fashion Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in Pattern Making.
After Graduating from FIT, I worked in NYC's garment industry. I specialized in intimate apparel, working at Maidenform, then moving on to Donna Karan Intimates /Wacoal. I went on to work at Jones NY/Ralph Lauren, then to Perry Ellis. My husband and I moved to Seattle, WA. where I worked at Cutter and Buck as a Technical Designer. After having my son in 2006, I became a stay at home mom. The start of making masks is my return to sewing and designing, an answer to prayers.
My name is Pamela Oliver....I started designing fashionable masks in March after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted something more than the protections of the regular surgical mask. I wanted something to match my personality, something to match my outfits.
